into the shadow
while she speaks about the sea
all my life
of course
that's what humans do
not enough love
if only

I've been dead, I've been lame
But I'd finally get my head in the game
If you loved me
If you really loved me

I'd finally be hip, I'd be cool
I'd be trippin' around like a fool
If you loved me
If you really loved me

How sweet it would be if you feel the way that I do
How sweet it would be if it's true

I'd have peace, I'd have bliss
I'd have kisses that you couldn't resist
If you loved me
If you really loved me

How sweet it would be if you feel the way that I do
How sweet it would be if it's true

Can't you tell? Can't you see?
What a hell of a thrill it would be
If you loved me
If you really loved me

PRODUCTION NOTES: This song is actually a knockoff of a Beatles knockoff, inspired by hearing The Rutles sing "I Must Be in Love" after a lapse of many years.

I wanted to see how easy it was to do video editing in iMovie, so we cleared off a wall in the garage, set up the camcorder and lip-synched for about an hour. The editing was easy (iMovie really is a breeze to use for simple projects). I posted it on YouTube for a joke and told a few friends about it. Next thing we knew, it had 150 views.

There's actually only one guitar in this song: the 12-string electric used for the solo in the middle. The rest, even the strummed acoustic guitars, are played on a keyboard.

Guitar, digitized guitars, bass, drums and backup vocals: Tim
